As two former Board members of BBBSCP, we are really excited to be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Plains. From our time on the Board, we are aware of the invaluable service that BBBSCP provides to our communities. This organization has made a difference in the lives of so many kids and families. What a great reason to celebrate!
Our time on the Board has also made us aware of the cost of making matches that make a difference. We thought that, as our contribution to the celebration, we would like to make a difference by raising money to keep matches going and hopefully to make more.
To this end, the 50 Donors for $50+ Campaign was born. We would like to provide a “bonus” to the first 50 people who donate $50+. Cathy is an amazing quilter and she has been busy making beautiful table runners and rope bowls. Jan has been baking all kinds of cookies. We have even had a donation of bowls from a local wood worker. So, when you donate $50+ you will be able to choose from any of these lovely bonuses!
